2019 Summer Camp...
Summer Camps for 2019 have ended. Watch for the 2020 Summer Camp Dates coming in the fall. Thanks to all the campers, the staff and the volunteers for a great 2019.
In 2006, The VillagesTri County Junior Golf, Inc. began to host summer camps during the summer and since that time have conducted more than 78 summer camps. In 2015, work began to form The Junior Golf Foundation, which is a DBA name for The Villages Tri-County Junior Golf Foundation, Inc. which is now the current title.
The Junior Golf Foundation has a dedicated mission to make accessible junior golf activities, programs and events to all interested juniors while promoting a lifelong interest in the game of golf through the youth in our community. Our core purpose is to ensure that those juniors that participate are able to prosper and achieve their own, specific goals through the access to state of the art equipment through The Villages Junior Golf Academy.
The total development of our juniors will include athletic and golf motor skills, character building values and actions, golf rules and etiquette, in addition to competition and fun. To do this we utilize a progressive “Growth Track” that is based on instruction that builds on what the student is currently able to do. This proven method will provide a great experience for juniors of all skill levels as they will be challenged to develop mentally, physically and emotionally.
It is our hope that through the game of golf we are able to teach skills that will have a positive lasting impact on all those who participate.
